Val prides herself on her straightforward, yet compassionate approach. She is a 1st generation child of Thai Immigrants, spending much of her life in Queens, NY. The community she was raised in provided her with an awareness of the complexities of culture and she understands the stigma that can come with seeking therapy. She is proud and welcoming of diversity and brings a relatability that is a breath of fresh air.

As a BIPOC therapist, she appreciates bringing a sense of normalcy to sessions and encouraging you to be your authentic self. Val’s goal is to make sure you feel heard, validated, and empowered.
